The site for Danza Buenos Aires is located on the border between San Telmo and La Boca. San Telmo is the historical center of the city and embodies a nostalgia for Buenos Aires’ past of tango and art. La Boca is a working class neighborhood with many youths pushing the evolving culture of Buenos Aires‘ present.



Dance Buenos Aires
Danza Buenos Aires is located on the border between two populations, each offers the other a direct glimpse of a world outside of their own, the two connected through the common language of dance.
The tourist, attracted to San Telmo’s antiques and tango can come away with a view of what the dance culture of BA is today. The youth of Buenos Aires can learn of the diverse range of cultures coming to them from around the world.
